Performance criteria at 06/30/2023
Players with a professional contract and playing time over the last 12 months for their club's first team are included. All Ligue 1 and Champions League matches are included.
TRAINING QUALITY
The quality of training is objectively measured by the human capital of players from the training center.
1 | OVERALL VALUE OF CLUB-TRAINED PLAYERS
The overall absolute value corresponds to the sum of the individual values at June 30, 2023 of each player trained at the club. This intangible value of the players trained by the club corresponds to a potential capital gain.
2 | AVERAGE VALUE OF CLUB-TRAINED PLAYERS
Average value per number of players trained (total value of players trained at the club / number of players trained)
3 | NUMBER OF CLUB-TRAINED PLAYERS
Only players who have been trained by the club and have played for their club's first team over the last 12 months are counted. In order to reflect the recent performance of the training center, a coefficient is applied according to the age of the players trained.
The number of points is determined as follows:
-No. of players trained and aged under or equal to 21 (U21) multiplied by coefficient 1.25
-No. of players trained and aged over 21 (U21) multiplied by coefficient 0.5
The overall number of points for each club corresponds to the sum of the points obtained in the two age categories.
THE QUALITY OF PROFESSIONALIZATION
The quality of professionalization is assessed by the ability to provide support towards professionalization.
4 | SHARE OF THE VALUE OF CLUB-TRAINED PLAYERS
Corresponds to the share of value generated by players trained at the club (% value of trained players / total value of professional workforce),
5 | FIRST-TEAM PLAYING TIME
Only club-trained players with playing time in the first team of their training club over the last 12 months are counted. To reflect the recent performance of the club's professionalization model, a coefficient is applied according to the age of the players trained.
The number of points is determined as follows:
-Cumulative playing time of trained players aged 21 or under (U21) multiplied by coefficient 1.25
-Cumulative playing time of players trained and aged over 21 (U21) multiplied by coefficient 0.5
The overall number of points for each club corresponds to the sum of the points obtained in the two age categories.
