A mathematical model to calculate the true value of OL players

OL has been talking about it publicly, little by little, since mid-November: OL uses a new tool: Thesaurus Football®, the standard for evaluating player capital that was approved by Bercy in January and developed by Ginkyo Ratings, the extra-financial rating agency for soccer clubs.

The player, an intangible asset that is difficult to value

It is intended to give him the "right value" of his players. A world first. Because when Alexandre Lacazette was sold to Arsenal for 50.1 million euros in the summer of 2017, it was the first time that a value could be officially attached to his name over the fifteen years that the player had spent at the club.

The same applies to all the footballers from the training center, who constitute what is called an "intangible asset" that is extremely difficult to value. These players have a value, but until now it has been invisible in the financial balance sheet of the listed club ....
